Data protection is a top priority for Userlike! Therefore, we don't process the sensitive data of our customers. For example, we do not store credit card information on our system. Instead, this data is handled by our certified payment partner.
In addition, we offer you the option to manually exclude personal data of your end users from the chat according to your wishes, for example, not collect it in the first place. You can also configure your website widget to only process user data that has been explicitly approved by your end users. You can find more privacy options in your widget configuration. By providing these configuration options in your dashboard, Userlike helps you comply with your country's privacy regulations.
The chat data of your end users is processed in Germany by our service provider Hetzner Online GmbH on behalf of Userlike. The data centers used for this purpose meet the highest data protection standards. Our chat widget is delivered to your site using the CDN Amazon Cloudfront. However, with the exception of the IP address and other information required for the technical transmission of the content, no personal data of your end users is processed by Amazon. All other services, beyond these core features, can used based on your preference. If these services are not activated, or if they are not included in your selected product, no data is processed via these providers.
